Event Information:
Starting at Berrow beach car park there is a nice run along Brean Sands which is one of the longest stretches of beach in the country. We will then ascend Brean Down and run the trails and see Roman temples, an Iron Age Fort and the famous Palmerston Fort which can accessed. The run is approx 20KM with approx 200M of elevation. The beach run is a great warm up and cool down too. Bring your towel if you would like a paddle at the end! Please car share if possible it’s a very small (but free) car park.

Expected Terrain: Sand, some mud, rocks

Entry Requirements: Suitable for anyone who can run 20k without walking
Essential Kit:
- Trail running shoes
- Head torch with spare batteries
- Waterproof jacket (if necesarry)
- Appropriate clothing for the weather
- Minimum 500ml of water
- Some form of sodium in food or drink
- Minimum 200kcal of food
- Fully charged mobile phone
- Spare, warm change of clothes in the car
