Hawkesbury Common 20k

Event Information:

Meeting point: Lower Woods, Inglestone Road, Wickwar, Wooton-Under-Edge, GL9 1BX.

Starting at Lower Woods, this run takes in glorius Hawkesbury countryside and woodlands. Reletively flat with a couple of hills. 

Approximate Distance: 20km

Approximate Elevation: 400m

Expected Terrain: Rocky and dirt trails

Run Leader: Jason Dickson

Entry Requirements: You should be able to run 20k in around 2 hours to participate.

Essential Kit:

• Trail running shoes
• Appropriate clothing for the weather
• Waterproof jacket if necesarry
• Minimum 1000ml of water
• Some form of sodium in food or drink
• Minimum 600kcal of food
• Spare, warm change of clothes in the car
• Spare food and drink in the car
• Hand sanatizer and face mask
• A fully charged phone

Recommended Extra Kit:

• First Aid Kit
• Foil Blanket
• Trekking poles
