Leigh Woods 10k

Event Information:

We will meet at the Leigh Woods Car Park at 19.00 and head on a steady 10k run. The route has mixed terrain and is reasonably hilly. The car park costs £2 for 2 hours and you can pay by contactless card.

Approximate Distance: 10km

Approximate Elevation: 130m

Expected Terrain: Rock and dirt woodland trails

Run Leader: Joe Wenman

Entry Requirements: All abilities welcome as long as they can run 10k without stopping to walk

Essential Kit:

• Trail running shoes
• Appropriate clothing for the weather
• Waterproof jacket if necesarry
• Minimum 500ml of water
• Some form of sodium in food or drink
• Minimum 200kcal of food
• Spare, warm change of clothes in the car
• Spare food and drink in the car
• Hand sanatizer and face mask
• A fully charged phone
