NYD Dundry Down 20k

Please read all event information before registering for an event:

Event Information:

We will meet by the gate to Leigh Woods on North Road. You can park right there on the roadside. Allowing for a New Years Day lay in, we won't meet until 10.00. We will then run a loop, enjoying Ashton Court and Dundry Hill. Start the new year as you mean to go on!

Approximate Distance: 20km

Approximate Elevation: 420km

Expected Terrain: Mixed, mostly rocky trails or well maintained trails

Run Leader: Joe Wenman

Entry Requirements: This will be a steady run, but don't underestimate it. The route is hilly and the trails are tough. To take part, you should be able to comfortably run a 20km trail route at a 6.00 - 6.30 per kilometre pace.

Essential Kit:

• Trail running shoes
• Head torch with spare batteries
• Appropriate clothing for the weather
• Waterproof jacket with taped seams
• At least 500ml of water or sodium drink
• At least 2 food items like gels/bars/nuts/etc
• Spare, warm change of clothes in the car
• Hand sanitizer and face mask

• This event is limited to fifteen attendees
• You must register on this page to attend
• If your plans change, please revisit this page to cancel your attendance so another member can take your place
• Do not attend this run if you are not medically well
• You must socially distance at all BTR events
• You must always listen to instructions and guidance provided by BTR run leaders
