About the Event
Come along for a Parkrun at Frome followed by coffee and cake at the Rye Bakery!! You could even collect a sourdough to take home. We will meet around 8.40-8.45am and do a joint warmup before the event starts at 9am!
The course is run entirely on tarmac paths. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain. There is some gentle climbs; and some good downhills, set within a natural, green landscape - with views stretching across the town.
How to get there:
Bus: D2 - From Bath (via Hinton Charterhouse, Norton St Philip and Beckington). NB. The D2 stops on Berkley Road (opposite Windsor Crescent) This is the closest bus stop to the Showfield; less than half a mile from the course.
Train: Frome train station is just under a mile from the Old Showfield on foot or by bike. The walk or cycle…
